Description	Folios 33-34. Letter from Dr Kay [James Phillips Kay, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner], Norwich, [Norfolk], to the Poor Law Commission, informing them that the board of guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union had appointed a committee on Monday 16 January 1837, to assist him in reviewing the insufficient diet of the able bodied men who worked eight hours per day, at the 'Hand Corn Mill'. He has taken evidence from the superintendant of labour and the surgeon at the workhouse and will forward the evidence as soon as it is copied. The committee reported that they could not find any evidence to confirm that the men working at the mill were receiving an insufficient diet and request that the application regarding diet, from the board of guardians, be disregarded.
