Description | Folios 273-274. Letter from Francis W Ellis, Southwold, [Blything Poor Law Union], to the Poor Law Commission, enclosing a receipt for £77 11s 9d being the expenses incurred conducting the audits of the poor law unions in Suffolk. Payment should be made to the Bank of Messrs Hankeys and Co, 7, Fenchurch Street, for transmission to Messrs Harvey and Hudsons Bank, Southwold to his account [not included] Copy of a reply from the Poor Law Commission to F W Ellis returning his receipt which was invalid due to it being written over the bill stamp [not included].
