Description | Folios 8-9. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to Harry White, Clerk to the Guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union, sanctioning the appointment of Richard Boyce as collector of the poor rate for Southwold, on the proposed terms. They also sanction the appointment of Emily Wilson [Emily Willson] as schoolmistress at the workhouse, at a salary of £12 per annum. She replaces Mrs Ann Aldis who resigned. Paper Number: 2303/A/1836. Poor Law Union Number 432. Counties: Suffolk. |
