Description Folio 153. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to Dr James Phillips Kay, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner, acknowledging receipt of a letter, dated 24 September 1836, requesting that an order be issued to the Blything Poor Law Union, prohibiting relief to able-bodied males out of the workhouse. They wish to know how important it is to include the age restriction, as no such limit has previously been included. Annotated: letter sent. Paper Number: 4088/A/1836. Poor Law Union Number 432.
