Description | Folios 297-298. Letter from Doctor J Kay [Assistant Poor Law Commissioner] at Cromer [Norfolk] to the Poor Law Commission referring to the request of the Blything Poor Law Union to suspend business [contrary to the regulations] 'changes have a tendency to become contagious and to spread from one union to another' and seems undesirable. If the request is allowed until 25 March, it is important that Lord Stradbroke always be present at meetings to 'supervise the rule'. Paper Number: 5242/A/1836. Poor Law Union Number 432.
