Description | Folios 318-319. Letter from Harry White, Clerk to the Guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission acknowledging receipt of letter numbered 5333a and the copy letter from Mr Saunders regarding the Poll Tax on emigrants. Mr Saunders' letter has been referred by the board of guardians to the Emigration Committee, for consideration at their meeting the following Monday, after which their decision will be notified to the Poor Law Commission. Annotated: Await further comments. Paper Number: 599/A/1836. Poor Law Union Number 432. Counties: Suffolk. |
