Description | Folio 378. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Harry White, Clerk to the Guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union, in which they state that their attention has been directed to a report in the Ipswich Journal of 17 Dec 1836, of a speech made by Mr C Cobbold at a meeting in Ipswich on 14 December 1836, where he alludes to the case of a pauper in the parish of Walpole in the Blything Poor Law Union. The Commission wish the board of guardians to conduct an enquiry and report back their findings. Paper Number: 6096/A/1836. Poor Law Union Number 432. Counties: Suffolk. |
