Description | Folio 389. Letter [which was cancelled and never sent] from the Poor Law Commission to Harry White, Clerk to the Guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union acknowledging receipt of enclosure number 2, in which the guardians tell of their concern regarding the diet of the able-bodied in Bulcamp workhouse. The Commission enclose a circular containing several different dietary tables, drawing the guardian's attention to table 3, which would be authorised and allocated if they think appropriate. Paper Number: 6121/A/1837. Poor Law Union Number 432. Counties: Suffolk. |
