Description | Folio 80. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Charles Hart, Secretary to the Liverpool Select Vestry. Directed by the Board to transmit for the information of the Liverpool Select Vestry copies of the certificates awarded by the Committee of Council on Education to the School Masters and School Mistresses of Liverpool parish. These certificates set out the estimate of the teachers' qualifications and specify the sums allowed from the Parliamentary Grant for the teachers' salaries for the year ended 25 March 1851. The Board call your attention to the observations on the flyleaf of the certificate awarded to Mrs Grace Halstead, [Mistress of Kirkdale Industrial Union School]. 11537-11546/1851. Poor Law Union Number 220. Counties: Lancashire. |
