Description | Folio 94. Draft letter from Poor Law Board to [Joseph Casserala] [Joseph Cafferala], [Member of Liverpool Select Vestry]. The letter acknowledges receipt of a letter of the 19 March 1851 on the subject of proposed subscription by the Select Vestry to the Southern and Toxteth Hospital of £50 per annum. The Board have given the fullest consideration to your letter and have also called upon the Select Vestry for information as to the prospective advantages the parish will derive from subscribing to the Hospital. In all the circumstances the Board would not be justified in withholding their sanction to the subscription. Paper Number: 13259/1851. Poor Law Union Number 220. Counties: Lancashire. |
