Description | Folio 362. Letter from Charles Hart, Secretary to the Liverpool Select Vestry to the Poor Law Board. Acknowledge receipt of letter of 24 November 1851 requesting information on salary to be paid to W L Heathcote as Assistant Master of Workhouse for three months. The Workhouse Committee decided his salary should be equivalent to £200 per annum or £70 in addition to his present salary as Book Keeper, or £17 10s additional for the three months. Annotated: Heathcote's salary as Book Keeper was £130 per annum. Proposed salary as Assistant Master to be £70 making a total of £200. Former salary for the master was £300. Paper Number: 47893/1851. Poor Law Union Number 220. Counties: Lancashire. |
