Description | Folios 373B-374. Letter from Charles Hart, Secretary to the Liverpool Select Vestry to the Poor Law Board. Reports the Select Vestry has considered a letter from the Reverend Isaac Holmes, Chaplain of the Workhouse informing them of the manner, John Roberts, Schoolmaster of the Workhouse, had discharged his duties for the last six months. Copy of the Chaplain's letter is forwarded in pursuance of the Board's letter dated 28 August 1851, stating manner has given every satisfaction.
