Description | Folio 375. Draft letter from Poor Law Board to Charles Hart, Secretary to the Liverpool Select Vestry. Acknowledge receipt of letter of 9 December 1851 and report the Board sanction a further six month probation period for the appointment of John Roberts, Schoolmaster of the Liverpool Workhouse on same terms as stated in Board's letter of 28 August 1851. The Board request to be informed after six months of the opinion of the Select Vestry of how Roberts performs his duties. Paper Number: 49631/1851. Poor Law Union Number 220. Counties: Lancashire. |
