Description | Folio 244. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to T Watkins, Clerk to the Guardians of the Cardiff Poor Law Union, acknowledging his letter of 25 March concerning Hannah Adams. They sanction her appointment as schoolmistress at the workhouse school at £20 per annum and rations on a six months trial. At the end of six months they ask for a report on her performance.
