Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Thomas Watkins, Clerk to the Guardians of the Cardiff Poor Law Union, acknowledging their letter of the 21 May 1852 forwarding the certificate of accommodation of the Cardiff workhouse and House of Refuge. The Poor Law Board fix the maximum permitted to be admitted into the house of refuge to 30 persons. Paper Number: 18285/1852. Poor Law Union Number 613. Counties: Glamorganshire and Monmouthshire. |
