| Description | Folio 341. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Thomas Watkins, Clerk to the Guardians of the Cardiff Poor Law Union. The Poor Law Board acknowledge the receipt their letter of the 28 August 1852 with its enclosure and to inform you that they will issue an order for a new valuation of the rateable property in the parish of Penmark as applied for. The Poor Law Board request that the draft of the contract, which the board of guardians may propose to enter into with the valuer, may be sent to them for their inspection. Paper Number: 33281/1852.
