Description | Folios 364-366. Letter from Thomas Watkins, Clerk to the Guardians of the Cardiff Poor Law Union, to Poor Law Board, forwarding the 'Forms of Queries' relating to the appointment of Mr Thomas Evans as Collector for Lantrissent [Llantrisant]. The form shows Evans as living at Lantrissent and was previously a Malster. The salary is to be £100 per annum. William Treherne, Lantrissent, and Daniel Jones, Lantwit Vardre, are sureties. The post became vacant due to the death of Thomas Ajax, previous officer. Annotated: Mr Graves [John Thomas Graves, Poor Law Inspector]. 29 October 1852. Satisfied. J T G, 31 October 1852. Sanction.
