Description | Folios 431-432. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to T Watkins, Clerk to the Guardians of the Cardiff Poor Law Union, including a copy of their letter to Miss Hannah Adams, that would have been sent to her by the Committee of Council on Education, had she not already left the school. Copy of a letter from the Committee of Council on Education to Miss Hannah Adams, Schoolmistress of the Cardiff Parochial Union School, stating that as she refused to be examined by J C Symonds, HM Inspector of Parochial Union Schools on 5 November 1852, she cannot be awarded a certificate.
