Description | Folio 466. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to Mr E Davies of Fairwater House, Cardiff, in reply to the memorial for the division of the Cardiff Poor Law Union, stating that the Board have given careful consideration to their arguments and those of the opposing parties and the Board has come to the conclusion that it would not be in the interests of the Union, or on public grounds expedient that this division should take place and therefore decline to accede to the wishes of the memorialists.
