Description | Folio 201. Letter from William Ashton, Clerk to the Guardians of the Basford Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, informing them that, in response to their letter of 15 February 1841, the guardians cannot answer their question as no vagrants have been received at the union workhouse. They attribute this to their proximity to Nottingham. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. |
