Description | Folio 205. Note from the Poor Law Commission to Edward Senior, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner, asking what steps have been taken by the guardians with regard to the alterations in the Basford Poor Law Union Workhouse. Senior replies that the guardians are determined to postpone a decision 'until the bill is disposed of' as 'separate yards and wards will not be required if the clause for district schools passes'.
