Description | Folio 249. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Matthew Robson, [Surveyor], Ilkeston, informing him that an applicant for position of guardian must be assessed in respect of property of an annual rateable value as prescribed by the court. Before they can answer his second query they need to know if the owner pays the rates for the whole of the property or whether the tenant(s) pay the rates for the part of the property they occupy under the provisions of 59 Geo III c 12. Paper Number: 2861/B/1841. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. |
