Description | Folio 635. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to William Ashton, Clerk to the Guardians of the Basford Poor Law Union, stating that in the cases of Thomas Fox, William Beardall, Thomas Marriott, Samuel Bywater, Phineas Butler, John Bush, Joseph Oakland, John Wright, Isaac Alvey and John Straw, granted relief by the board of guardians to the Basford Poor Law Union, they sanction relief, due to the workhouse being full and the peculiar circumstances in the Basford Poor Law Union. Paper Number: 11703/B/1841. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. |
