Description | Folio 174. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Thomas Watkins, Clerk to the Guardians of the Cardiff Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 17 June 1844 and state that the Guardians of the Cardiff workhouse are empowered by the order of 12 November 1838, to proceed to fill the vacancy of the Collector of Poor Rates of the Town of Cardiff caused by the resignation of Mr Lloyd.
