Description | Folio 182. A letter from Charles Redwood, Porthkerry parish, Cardiff Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, informing them that the conveyance of the poor house of Porthkerry to the sons of the late Sir Samuel Romilly by Thomas Evans senior, Churchwarden and Thomas Evans junior, Overseer, and the purchase money paid into the National Provincial Banking Company, Cardiff, the treasurers of the union, and the clerk to the board of guardians will forward the conveyance to the Commission. Redwood asks for the conveyance to be returned to him direct. Paper Number: 12346/B/1844. Poor Law Union Number 613. Counties: Glamorganshire and Monmouthshire. |
