Description | Folio 435. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to Thomas Watkins, Clerk to the Guardians of the Cardiff Poor Law Union, acknowledging the receipt of his letter of 27 April 1846 seeking approval of the rearrangement of the reliving districts in the Cardiff Poor Law Union. The Commission wish to know the reasons for the proposed changes, if the relieving officers remain the same and if or what alterations are proposed to be made in their salaries.
