Description | Folio 437. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to E P Richards, Cardiff Poor Law Union, in reference to his letter of 11 May 1846, concerning the conveyance of parish property in the parishes of St John the Baptist and St Mary, and return the draft conveyance from the guardians and others to C C Williams, approved by the Commission. Richards is referred to the decision of the Court of Queen's Bench in the case of the Banbury Poor Law Union [Oxfordshire] (Davison and Merivale page 92); the Commission has decided that stamp duty is not payable. Paper Number: 6614/B/1846. Poor Law Union Number 613. Counties: Glamorganshire and Monmouthshire. |
