Description Folios 162-164. Letter from Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, enclosing a parish produce property appropriation order referring to Pedmore parish in the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union. The sum of £219 12s to be paid to discharge payment of loans on new workhouse. The sum of £12 12s shall be paid to offset expenses incurred in making a survey valuation of the parish. The remainder of the sum of £303 16s to be invested and dividends applied in aid of the rates. The letter also refers to J Mathews, who was appointed to survey and value Pedmore. An addition £12 2s has been agreed as expenses and the board of guardians want ther Commission's sanction. Paper Number: 526/B/1840. Poor Law Union Number 526.
