Description | Folio 334. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to William Powell, Clerk to the Guardians of the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter dated 29 December 1836 referring to the sale of the property in Wavendon. The Commission state that the property in question is held in trust for charitable purposes and the Commission have no power to authorise the sale. Paper Number: 6298/A/1837. |
