Description | Folio 202. Letter from the Poor Law Commission to Samuel King, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, approving of an order prescribing task work for casuals in the workhouse. And transmitting a copy signed by the Commission [not included]. The Commission suggest that the order should be made into a placard and positioned in different places in the workhouse and recommend Messer's Knight and Co publishers Ludgate Street to supply the placards. Paper Number: 3808/B/1844. Poor Law Union Number 302. Counties: Norfolk. |
