Description | The two pieces in this series consist of the technical logs and supplementary papers relating to the airframes and engines of the Gloster Whittle Jet-Propelled Aircraft E.28/39 (the first jet-propelled aircraft to fly in this country) and the Hawker Aircraft P.1072. The technical logs cover the period of trial and experiment and do not constitute a record of military or training operations. |
