Description

This series contains the records of the Inquiry into the Circumstances Affecting the Collapse of Flats at Canning Town which took place between 8 June and 20 August 1968 to look into the cause of an explosion in a block of flats at Ronan Point, Canning Town, on 16 May 1968.

The records consist of transcripts of daily hearings and related documents, and includes the final draft of the 'Report of the Inquiry into the Collapse of Flats at Ronan Point, Canning Town' (piece 21).
