Description	Minutes of the Joint Intelligence Committee (A) until 30 September 1974 and then the Joint Intelligence Committee.
Arrangement	Although the Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC) became the Joint Intelligence Committee (A) (JIC(A)) effective 1 April 1968, the symbol 'JIC(A)' was not taken into use on the minutes until the beginning of 1969. The reversion of JIC(A) to the JIC designation effective 1 October 1974 was reflected in an immediate readoption of the 'JIC' symbol.
