Description | This series comprises memoranda issued by the Joint Intelligence Committee (A). |
Arrangement | Although the Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC) became the Joint Intelligence Committee (A) (JIC(A)) effective 1 April 1968, the symbol 'JIC(A)' was not taken into use on the memoranda until the beginning of 1969. The reversion of JIC(A) to the JIC designation effective 1 October 1974 was reflected in an immediate readoption of the 'JIC' symbol.
