Description | The records in this series relate mainly to questions of duty relief for various goods, import controls and questions of how to deal with anti-dumping matters after the transitional period allowed after the UK's accession to the EEC, the UK's subsequent trade and anti-dumping policy and involvement in Multilateral Trade Negotiations (MTNs) and include the division of responsibilities and the revision of UK legislation. There are also papers on cases of dumping of polyester fibre from Romania, cheap men's footwear from Eastern Europe, Christmas cards from the Soviet Union and cheap suits from East Germany. |
