Description

JOHNSON K; H WILLIAMS D D. Details of the arrangements that were made for the funeral of the Barbadian band leader Ken Johnson, who was killed by the bomb that devastated the Café de Paris in London on 4th March 1941. Correspondence with his mother, on the division of his belongings and on the memorial service organised at Sir William Borlase's School, Marlow. Johnson had studied at the school from 1929-1931 and an inscription in his honour was unveiled on the chapel wall.
