Description | Registered files of the Board of Trade's Finance Department and its predecessors. Until 1867 these are records of the separate Accounts and Pensions Departments; thereafter they are files of the Finance Department. Also included are files of the Enemy Property Branch. |
Arrangement | This series is grouped into three sequences: BT 15/1-70: files registered up to 1918. BT 15/71-458: files registered from 1919 onwards. These were originally catalogued are arranged under subject-coded headings. BT 15/459 onwards: Administration of Enemy Property Department papers and claims by the Soviet Government against the UK in respect of Baltic States' assets and gold. |
