1:26 000 approx Production: compiled/produced: Prepared by the Hydrographic - Dept of the Admiralty under the Superintendence of Captain J F Parry RN, Hydrographer, for the Intelligence Division of the Admiralty War Staff Set of 3 charts produced immediately before the first naval bombardment of the Dardanelles Entrance on 19 Feb 1915. With Tabl of Sea Defences, 1907, and note: "The Defences are as shown on Chart No 3 in NID publication No 838 with corrections in red to 1914". Also with graphic index of the 3 sheets. Note on Sheet No 1 was incorrect in stating that the "corrections in red to 1914" are on Sheet 3] |
