On 1 Jan 1963, the Acts of Parliament Numbering and Citation Act 1962, came into force, and accordingly from that date onwards acts and church measures are numbered from the beginning to the end of each calendar year instead of each parliamentary session, Similarly, acts and church measures are now cited by calendar, not regnal, years. |
