Description | 1 item extracted from DL 42/119, f 378. 'Lincolniae Notinghamiaque Comitatuum nova vera et accurata description Anno Domini 1576.' Map of the counties of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, annotated with gold and red ink to show the main towns and manors belonging to the Duchy of Lancaster and Honour of Bolingbroke. Title in fretwork cartouche beneath royal arms. Scale bar surmounted by dividers; 1 inch to about 4 miles. Surveyed by Christopher Saxton. Engraved by Remigius Hogenberg. |
