This series contains microfilm of records of the Principal Superintendent of Convicts in New South Wales.

Full details of the return of these colonial convict records to New South Wales were made available from The National Archives wiki ('Your Archives') which existed at the time. Snapshots of 'Your Archives' (series RW 13) are now available online.

Custodial history This series formerly consisted of eight volumes of entry books [CO 207/1-8]. The volumes were transferred to the Archives Authority of New South Wales in 1974 where they were microfilmed by the Australian Joint Copying Project (AJCP). Copies of the microfilm were presented to the Public Record Office and now form CO 207/9-11.
