Endorsed: 'Ogmore, Proposed thus Certifyed upon the first Co[...] by all the Commissioners without [??] [??] certifying of any Plott. G Bromley.' Endorsement in late seventeenth century hand on label affixed to canvas on which map mounted. The depiction of Ewenny Priory apparently intact suggests that the map was made before the priory was dissolved in 1540.
