Description | R v. Arthur Thistlewood, James Watson the elder, James Watson the younger, Thomas Preston, John Hooper and others. Court: King?s Bench. Box containing three pike-heads as exhibits. Papers relating to the prosecutions: (1) for high treason (arising from the riots in London in 1816); (2) for a misdemeanour (sending a challenge to Lord Sidmouth to fight a duel in 1818); (3) for high treason and other offences (arising from the 'Cato Street conspiracy' in 1820).
