Description | Charity Commission and Board of Education correspondence, minutes and papers relating to the drafting of schemes and orders and the administration of further education endowments. The endowments relate to institutions providing instruction in vocational, domestic, art and general subjects in the field of further education. The files maintained their separate identity and retained Charity Commission reference numbers; they were also assigned a Board of Education reference number and became an integral part of the current series of Further Education: Endowment Files (T.1400 series). |
