Description	Interrogatories and depositions in Belott v Mountjoy, on behalf of Stephen Belott [including that made by William Shakespeare]: Interrogatories on the part of Stephen Belott (folio 4-5). Deposition taken at Westminster of Joan Johnsone, wife of Thomas Johnsone, of the parish of Ealing, Middx, basket maker of the age of 40 years or thereabouts. Signed with her mark (folios 1B-2). Deposition taken at Westminster of Daniel Nicholas of the parish of St Alphage within Cripplegate, gent, of the age of 52 [sic] years or thereabouts. Signed (folios 2-3). Deposition taken at Westminster of William Shakespeare of Stratford upon Avon, Warw, gent, of the age of 48 years or thereabouts, that in 1604 he was lodging in Christopher Mountjoy's house [in Silver Street], and that he knew the arrangements agreed for the marriage of Mary Mountjoy and Stephen Belott.
